Welcome back.
Are you still riding?
Then there's the guy who emails 50 questions about a 10 quid product, all of which could be answered by googling. So you answer and try to help, he emails again with more and you reply again. After the 5th email its obvious he doesnt actually want it and is basically wasting your time so you reply slower. Then he puts a post on a forum about how you're a twat because you're slow to reply so that whole process just costs you time and reputation, all because the bloke is a massive """"..

Hello all

I'm a new member living in Griffydam, Coalville. Most of my experience has been on road. I've done a couple of off road days/weekends and enjoyed it so much that I bought an old (1985) Honda XL600lmf (Paris Dakar model) as a fixer upper and for trail riding. I've done a few local green lanes and went on a solo trip to do the Stella Alpina rally in Italy in July this year. Looking to join in with some weekend ride outs with people who know where to go for legal green laning - nothing too difficult at this stage but would be up for trying most things! Hopefully meet up with some of you guys soon??

Hi Ian and welcome.
I've not seen anything about this years Stella .......
how did it go?
Were you stopped by the snow or was it clear to the top?
Did you do any of the other trails in the area?

Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony

Yes I was stopped by the snow! I met a couple of other guys from the UK there and rode up with them. We got pretty close to the top but couldn't quite make it. Great experience though. I also tried Monte Jafferau on my own and failed. I found out on my return that there is another way up that I should have taken instead! I ran out of time for any others as I only had 5 days for the whole trip. Hopefully going again next year and if so I'll make it at least 7 days next time.
