I know this one is a bit local for some of you, but there is a reason - it's close to Stanford Hall, and on Sunday June 28th, they'll be playing host to the 'Summertime Classics' incorporating ‘Club Italia’ concours.

Auto Italia Magazine wrote:Launched in 2013 this exciting new event will be held again in the manicured parkland of Stanford Hall. Centrally located with easy access from the M1 and A1M motorways, this superb stately home will be host to extensive displays of classic cars, bikes and commercial vehicles of all marques and nationalities.

The event incorporates an Italian ‘Club Italia’ concours and general classic car concours competition which forms the centrepiece of the event.

So, I'll be trundling along for a look after brekkie, and if this doesn't tempt JK out to his first brekkie of 2015, then I don't know what will.

Disappointed to turn up and find this one closed, just checked their Facebook page and website and no mention of being closed on Sunday, or even open on any day.

Still, it didn't inconvenience many, as today was the lowest ever turn out that I can remember. :(

It was still a good excuse to get the bike out otherwise it would have sat in the garage for another month :handgestures-thumbup:

Al and I went, slightly disappointing, but in fairness I'm sure the weather was to blame as they were clearly geared up for a much larger turnout. Still, it dried up and we took the scenic route home so all was not lost. ;)
